21st Century operates a hazardous waste treatment facility that can accept the following waste types: wastewaters, contaminated soils, inorganics, reactives, oxidizers, corrosives, cyanide baths, heavy metals, copper, lead, iron, nickel, cobalt, zinc, tin, acids, caustics, batteries, photographic chemicals, and resins. Waste codes accepted include: D001 - D011, F006 - F012, F019, F039, and several "K", "P", and "U" waste codes. The facility employs the following waste treatment technologies: recycling, neutralization, chemical precipitation, and solids treatment. Wastes are accepted in containers and tanker trucks.
The facility is operating under an approved RCRA Part B Permit. Also, the facility can accept CERCLA wastes.
For a waste stream to be accepted at the facility, the waste must be profiled by the generator, analyzed for required parameters, and formally accepted by the facility.
