EPA's Region 7 office is responsible for EPA regional programs within Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. Region 7 is headquartered in Kansas City, Kansas, and includes the following offices and divisions:
Air, RCRA, and Toxics Division (new source construction permit review, operating permits, air toxics, acid rain, lead, asbestos, CFCs, mobile sources, implementing the Emergency Planning and Community Right To Know Act (EPCRA), the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Solid Waste Program, Pollution Prevention and Waste Minimization, Household Hazardous Waste, Recycling, Reuse, Source Reduction, Solid Waste Landfills, Municipal Solid Waste Tribal Initiatives, and WasteWi$e implementation)
Environmental Services Division (environmental monitoring, air, water, and RCRA compliance)
Office of Policy and Management (health and safety, information resources, strategy development)
Regional Administrator (includes Enforcement Coordination Office, Office of Regional Counsel, and Office of External Programs)
Superfund Division (emergency response, spills, voluntary cleanup program, Superfund Sites, National Priorities List (NPL), CERCLIS)
Water, Wetlands, and Pesticides Division (Clean Water Act (CWA), wellhead protection, storm water, wetlands, NPDES, drinking water, groundwater, registration for producers, repackagers, and relabelers of pesticides or pesticide devices).
