The ECN brings together environmental companies and investors, and offers services to both. ECN provides individual, professional, corporate and institutional investors with access to early stage and expansion companies commercializing environmental and "green" technologies, products and services, and we also assist such companies in more efficiently and effectively raising capital.
ECN offers several services to attain these goals: An Investors' Bulletin and Capital Forums to bring together investors and companies, a Business Plan Review to help companies improve their business plans and an ECN gateway to the Angel Capital Electronic Network with an Environmental Business Capital Access informational site.
ECN is a project of the Center for Environmental Policy, Economics and Science (CEPES). CEPES is a 501(c)(3) not for profit corporation dedicated to developing multi-disciplinary solutions for complex environmental problems. ECN cannot and does not guarantee that companies will find capital or even be contacted by an investor. ECN is not registered as an investment advisor or securities broker-dealer with the Federal Securities and Exchange Commission. ECN is registered as an investment advisor conducting business as a finder pursuant to the Michigan Uniform Securities Act. ECN holds confidential all specific information provided to ECN. ECN releases specific information only to inquiring investors. Unless otherwise instructed, ECN will not release specific information about your firm to other companies or to the public.
