The Florida Division of State Fire Marshal protects and manages Florida's forest resources and conducts information and fire prevention programs. The State Fire Marshal participates in the state of Florida comprehensive Emergency Management plan and responds to emergency situations. The Department is responsible for the enforcement of regulations affecting the fire alarm industry, inspecting boilers and providing training, examination and licensing of fire equipment, fireworks and explosive dealers. |
