The Massachusetts EOEA is the state agency primarily responsible for protecting and conserving natural resources in Massachusetts. The Massachusetts EOEA ensures clean air and water, implements strategies for preserving and protecting wetlands, safeguards public health, conducts research, and provides citizens with information and assistance. The main divisions include: Food and Agriculture; Environmental Management; Environmental Protection; Metropolitan District Commission; and Fisheries, Wildlife, and Environmental Law Enforcement. |
