The AgDB system lists and describes hundreds of agriculture-related databases, datasets, and information systems. AgDB is one of the National Agricultural Library's cooperative contributions to the Agriculture Network Information Center (AgNIC) project (parts may still be in development).
How To Access The Data
Access to this free online system is through the AgDB web site. Users can browse all the AgDB metadata records through the alphabetical list, arranged by resource name. In addition, users can use the online form to keyword search the full text of all metadata records in AgDB. As part of this function, users can search by AGRICOLA Subject Category Code, permitting a broad level, human-indexed screening to be applied to a rough keyword search. Not all datasets described are available on the Internet, but for those that are, links have been established to the actual data wherever possible.
