The RCRA/Superfund/EPCRA Hotline provides technical guidance, regulatory interpretations, and up-to-date information on several federal regulatory programs: the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) which includes Underground Storage Tanks (USTs); the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA or Superfund); the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA); and the Oil Pollution Act (OPA). Callers can speak with a regulatory information specialist, or listen to pre-recorded information on specific topics. Regulatory interpretation infomation in the form of guidance documents, EPA letters and memorandum, information pamphlets, etc. can often be supplied free-of-charge by the regulatory information specialist. |
