The NTIS Bibliographic database contains summaries of scientific, technical, engineering, and business information products acquired by NTIS from 1964 to the present. This information is available as reports, videos, software, and datafiles. The database represents hundreds of billions of dollars of research sponsored by U.S. and foreign Governments, and provides instant access to 1.8 million records.
There are several ways to access the data:
1. Many public or academic libraries have access to the database.
2. It is also available for lease from NTIS. Customers who want to lease the database should call the NTIS Office of Product Management.
3. Printed equivalents of the NTIS Bibliographic Database or portions of it are available as the subject-specific NTIS Alerts and the Government Reports Announcements and Index.
4. The NTIS Online Searching Help desk will answer questions on searching the database and its subject content.
