Abstract: | |
The EFIN database is a directory of information on financing alternatives for state and local environmental programs and projects primarily in the form of abstracts of publications, case studies, and referrals to a network of public financing and environmental program experts. The purpose of EFIN is to provide information on environmental financing to EPA staff, state and local officials, associations, the financial industry, and interested members of the public.
How To Access The Data
The EFIN database is accessible to the public through the EPA's Online Library System via modem or Internet (Telnet).
To login via modem, dial the modem number and select OLS at the first prompt. At the OLS main menu type E for EFIN.
To login via Internet, Telnet to EPA's Internet address: TELNET EPAIBM.RTPNC.EPA.GOV. At the first menu select 4 for Public Access, at the second menu select 1 for OLS, and at the OLS main menu type E for EFIN (note that data entered may not appear on screen). If no computer access is available, a search on EFIN may be requested.
