BOVAR operates a fully integrated hazardous waste treatment facility that can accept the following waste types: wastewaters, dioxins, PCBs (any concentration), contaminated soils, halogenated and nonhalogenated solvents, inorganics, and organics, paint sludges, pesticides, reactives, heavy metals, acids, caustics, and oils. Waste treatment technologies offered at the facility include: rotary-kiln incineration, deepwell injection, landfilling, neutralization, oxidation/reduction, precipitation, and solidification/stabilization. The facility accepts wastes in containers and truck tankers.
No wastes that are accepted into the facility leave the facility. All wastes are treated and disposed on-site.
The facility's final permit is approved.
For waste streams to be accepted at the facility, the wastes must be profiled by the generator, analyzed for the required parameters, and formally accepted by the facility.
