The Wisconsin Public Service Commission is responsible for regulating public utilities, and is a pioneer in development of demand-side planning, least-cost integrated planning, and monetization of greenhouse gases. The PSC is an independent regulatory agency responsible for the regulation of Wisconsin public utilities. Typical types of utilities regulated include electric, natural gas, telephone, water and combined water and sewer. The PSC's purpose is to ensure that adequate and reasonable priced service is provided to utility customers. |
