The Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics (OPPT) is part of EPA's Office of Prevention, Pesticides, and Toxic Substances (OPPTS). OPPT has several publications available online at their web site. The full text of these documents can be viewed by clicking on the title using a standard web browser. The following documents are available:

U.S. National Profile on Management of Chemicals
A link is also provided to a set of approximately 30 OPPT Chemical Fact Sheets. For each chemical, a detailed fact sheet and a chemical summary data sheet can be downloaded in either ASCII text format or Adobe PDF format. Each fact sheet contains information on the chemical's: identity and physical/chemical properties; production, use, and trends; environmental fate; health effects; environmental effects; Federal office contact information; and references. Each chemical summary data sheet contains a brief summary of the information presented in the chemical fact sheet.
In addition, users can link to current issues of two online periodicals: Chemicals in Progress Bulletin, and Pollution Prevention News.
