The Department of Health promotes, protects, and enhances the health and well-being of Wyoming citizens. The major divisions include: Aging; Behavioral Health; Developmental Disabilities; Health Care Financing; Preventive Medicine; and Public Health. The Wyoming Department of Health also establishes, maintains, and promotes development of a comprehensive range of quality services that stress independent living; provides leadership in the field of health policy; provides health information network; and empowers communities to engage in health planning. |
