EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD) Bulletin Board Service (BBS) includes a text-searchable database of all ORD publications produced since 1976 (over 21,000 citations). Each citation contains an abstract of the ORD document. In addition to the database, conferences on the BBS include: Expert Systems; Biotechnology; Regional Operations; Groundwater Information Tracking System (GRITS); Environmental Monitoring and Assessment Program (EMAP); Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS); FCCSET; Regional Risk Assessors; Science Advisory Board; and Sludge-Biosolids-Residuals.
How To Access The Data
The ORD BBS is accessible via a dial-up modem or through the Internet via Telnet to cinbbs.cin.epa.gov. The ORD BBS World Wide Web site, listed below, contains a link to cinbbs.cin.epa.gov for users to access the ORD BBS via Telnet using a standard web browser.
Documents located by searching the database can be ordered online or by calling the ORD Document Distribution Center. EPA plans to make the information at the BBS available on the web in the near future.
