The DDE certification identifies an engineer as having expert knowledge in one of seven specialties of environmental engineering: Air Pollution Control; General Environmental Engineering; Hazardous Waste Management; Industrial Hygiene; Radiation Protection; Solid Waste Management; and Water Supply and Wastewater. Certification requires a B.S. degree in engineering, a P.E. license, eight years of experience, and successful examination completion. |
