This site provides information from the EPA Office of Water concerning the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), and the Marine Protection, Research, and Sanctuaries Act (Ocean Dumping).
The following is provided: a summary of the CWA; an overview of EPA's approach to implementation of the SDWA Amendments of 1996; a general guide to provisions of the SDWA Amendments of 1996; and a summary of the Ocean Dumping Act.
