The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) provides for material and technical support to the Navy and Marine Corps for shore facilities, real property and utilities, fixed ocean systems and structures, transportation and construction equipment, energy, environmental, and natural resources management. NAVFAC provides innovative solutions and alternatives to meet customer's needs in a number of areas, including:
Facilities: Products, services, engineering and construction that support mission requirements, housing and community facilities.
Installations: Engineering, real estate, public works, base management and comprehensive planning services for shore and ocean support facilities.
Environmental: Cleanup, compliance, pollution prevention, planning and conservation.
Base Realignment and Closure: Policies, procedures and organizational structure to execute base closure, realignment and disposal.
Contingency Engineering: Planning, engineering and construction services to joint Commanders in support of contingency operations.
