EPA's Technology Innovation Office sponsors the Hazardous Waste Clean-Up Information Web Site. This site is designed to provide information about innovative treatment technologies. A number of publications are available at the site for viewing and downloading free-of-charge. Some publications can be viewed directly using a standard web browser, and some must be downloaded in PDF format for viewing. Publications are available in the following subject areas:
Remediation Technologies - topics include thermal desorption, soil flushing, phytoremediation, dehalogenation, soil vapor extraction (SVE), in-situ remediation, and others.
Site Characterization Technologies - topics include CB Test Kit, field analytical screening, PCP immunoassay, brownfields, and others.
The Supply and Demand of Technologies - topics include markets and technology trends, innovative technologies, and others.
Partnerships, Consortia, and Roundtable - topics include the Bioremediation Action Committee, emerging technologies, remedial action technologies, and others.
Regulatory and Policy Issues - topics include hazardous waste permitting policies and procedures, surfactant injection, and more.
Printed copies of these documents may also be available free-of-charge from the National Center for Environmental Publications and Information (NCEPI). Documents unavailable from NCEPI may be available for purchase through the National Technical Information Service (NTIS).
