This online database contains roughly 325,000 MSDS files, and is searchable by keywords. The MSDSs in this database have been derived from a variety of sources, and the information typically contained in the chemical files includes:
- General Information: Item Name, Date MSDS Prepared, MSDS Serial Number, Specification Number, Hazard Characteristic Code, Ingredients/Identity Information, NIOSH (RTECS) Number, CAS Number, OSHA PEL, ACGIH TLV
- Physical/Chemical Characteristics: Appearance And Odor, Boiling Point, Vapor Pressure, Vapor Density, Specific Gravity, Evaporation Rate, Solubility, Percent Volatiles, Fire and Explosion Hazard Data, Flash Point, Lower Explosive Limit, Upper Explosive Limit, Extinguishing Media, Special Fire Fighting Procedures, Fire And Explosion Hazards
