The National Coastal Pollutant Discharge Inventory Program is a series of database development and analytical activities within the Office of Ocean Resources, Conservation and Assessment's (ORCA's) Strategic Environmental Assessments Division program of coastal and estuarine areas. It contains pollutant loading estimates for all major categories of point, nonpoint, and riverine sources located in coastal counties or the 200 mile Exclusive Economic Zone that discharge to the estuarine, coastal, and oceanic waters of the contiguous U.S. The National Coastal Pollutant Discharge Inventory: Pollutant discharge concentrations for industrial point sources is a 17 page paper which can be requested free-of-charge through the ORCA World Wide Web site. In addition, information on the National Coastal Pollutant Discharge Inventory Program is also available through the EPA web site at http://www.epa.gov/cesssi96/ces/guide/prog(22).htm. |
