Earth Vision is a World Wide Web site designed to bring together the diverse environmental community. It is made up of partners who share a desire to shape a more ecologically responsible world. Earth Vision is a marketplace for ideas, news and environmental goods, where partners provide expertise, knowledge, products and services. Non-profit organizations, companies, schools, and individuals can become Earth Vision partners and receive free services and the chance to help build the global environmental community of the future.
Earth Vision was designed by the Global Environment & Technology Foundation (GETF), a non-profit organization dedicated to help solve environmental problems through the use of technology. Among its many projects, GETF created the Global Network of Environment & Technology (GNET), an on-line environment and business center, and TechKnow, a database that allows users to share and access data on environmental technologies on the Web. Users can access this online site at no cost using a standard web browser, and can become a member of the community by registering.
