The Edwards Aquifer Research and Data Center (EARDC), Southwest Texas State University (SWT), San Marcos, Texas researches the Edwards Aquifer, the underground reservoir that supplies water for agricultural, industrial as well as municipal uses for more than 1.5 million people in the region. The aquifer and its associated springs are the home of several endangered species that are found only in this region.

          The website lists current aquifer conditions, information on the fresh/saline water interface in the Edwards Aquifer, so-called the 'Bad Water Line (BWL)', a water quality database for the BWL monitoring sites, and links to other related websites can be found at the website.
