The TULSA database contains information on worldwide petroleum exploration and production. TULSA contains more than 600,000 bibliographic citations, most with abstracts, dating from 1965 to the present. This database is updated weekly for the first 50 weeks of the year. TULSA covers the worldwide petroleum exploration and production literature, as well as related transportation, environmental, health and safety topics. Relevant items are selected from journals, books, conference proceedings, patent gazettes and documents, dissertations, government reports and other sources. TULSA also includes the Oil and Gas Fields Bibliography, a subfile of earlier references for oil and gas fields around the world.
Each TULSA entry includes a PA accession number, which can be used to order a full-text copy of any available document from the Petroleum Abstracts Document Delivery Service.
How To Access The Data
TULSA is available to Petroleum Abstracts (PA) subscribers. An annual search license is required for subscribers to access the full TULSA database with abstracts. Contact Petroleum Abstracts (PA) for search license information. Access for non-PA subscribers is available through DIALOG, STN, and Orbit.
