Other map products, published to meet the special needs of Federal agencies, include: DMA (Defense Mapping Agency) 15-minute topographic maps, Antarctic map series, shaded relief topographic maps, satellite image maps, and U.S. border maps. Map feature and color separates of United States Geological Survey (USGS) map series are also available for persons who want to custom-design map content for their own use.
Standard format and satellite image maps provide planimetry, topography, and reconnaissance geology information. Color-image maps show international boundaries. Standard topographic map data is presented on the DMA 1:50,000-scale maps.
The DMA 15-minute topographic maps are published at 1:50,000 scale.
The Antarctic map series includes principally topographic and geologic reconnaissance maps at 1:250,000 scale, and some topographic and satellite image maps at 1:100,000 scale. Shaded relief topographic reconnaissance, sketch-map, and satellite image series are also produced at 1:500,000 scale.
Color image U.S. border maps are produced at 1:25,000 scale.
