Micro Map & CAD specializes in providing CAD users with access to the vast amounts of government map data now available. Established in 1989, Micro Map & CAD provides a large selection of digital map data on CD-ROM, tape and diskette media as well as more than a dozen translator software packages. Our custom map services can survey the existing map data products, merging desired features, and providing the customization to suit your needs.
Digital mapping data available includes Digital Chart of the World (DCW), Digital Line Graph (DLG from USGS, BLM, National Parks), Digital Elevation Model (DEM), Hypsography Elevation Contours, Public Land Survey grid (section, township, range), Census Bureau TIGER, National Wetlands Inventory (NWI), Digital Ortho Quads (DOQ), Digital Raster Graphs (DRG), soil data, and soon to be released FEMA map data. New mapping data resources are being released all the time. Micro Map & CAD can provide all of these data resources in CAD and GIS formats such as DWG, DXF, DGN, ADE, MID/MIF, BNA, and MOSS. Our Digital Base Map CD-ROM sets contain vast amounts of translated map data in ready to use DWG format Custom Map Service. In addition, color raster scans of USGS Topo maps are available.
