The Idaho Division of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is responsible for implementing the environmental protection laws and programs within the state. The Division regulates facilities that generate pollution; monitors the health of Idaho's environment; cleans up contaminated sites; and provides education and technical assistance at the business, local and state levels. The Division of Environmental Quality did not have a website when this record was last updated. The link provided above is to the State's homepage agency index. Although the DEQ does not have online guidance, the Public Information office can be contacted directly to obtain printed copies of fact sheets and other environmental publications at no cost. |
