Flett Research Ltd. specializes in the ultratrace analysis of mercury and methyl mercury (water, sediments, tissues, air etc.) and in Pb-210 geochronology. Please refer to their web site for more information on our analytical methods and services, including a discussion on how Pb-210 can be used to date lake/oceanic sediments.
Their personnel are also able to take on a broad range of consulting work, including the development of chemical analytical procedures, completing NPRI (National Pollutant Release Inventory) and ARET (Accelerated Reduction/Elimination of Toxics) reports for industrial clients, Phase I and II Environmental Assessments, the updating of national water quality guidelines, the assessment of aquatic toxicological data, and the development of study designs to determine potential pollutant impacts on aquatic organisms.
