CITGO Petroleum Corporation is a privately-held company engaged in the refining, marketing and transportation of petroleum products including: asphalt, refined waxes, gasoline, diesel fuel, jet turbine fuel, heating oils, petrochemicals, lubricants and other petroleum-based industrial fuels. CITGO is a direct wholly-owned subsidiary of PDV America, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("PDV America"), and an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Petroleos de Venezuela, S.A. ("PDVSA").
CITGO owns and operates several crude oil refineries and asphalt refineries in the USA.
