The California Department of Pesticide Regulation is working closely with the USEPA Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) to develop Internet access to data sets that are of significant value to both organizations. The general public, chemical and agricultural industries will also find these data to be of use. The three databases which make up the USEPA / OPP's Pesticide Products Databases contain brief registration information on approximately 89,000 products. The data include: product number and name, company number and name, registration date, cancellation date and reason (if cancelled), and product manager name and phone number.
The separate databases include:
- Registered and Cancelled Pesticide Product Information
- Chemical Ingredients Database
- Chemical Product Firm/Registrant Information.
The chemical data is searchable by common, technical, synonym, CAS number, or trade names. The firm data is searchable by firm number, name, or portions thereof. These chemical, firm, and product databases have complimentary links and are searchable by multiple variables.
