The International Ground Water Modeling Center's education and training program in ground-water modeling began in 1980 and has developed into an highly appreciated annual program with regularly scheduled courses, workshops and seminars at both IGWMC offices, and various special courses on location. The Center's education program involves renowned instructors from academia, industry and government and has been attended by more than 2000 professionals. The program is aimed at providing high-quality instruction in the development of quality ground-water modeling software, the quality-assured use of ground- water models, and the efficient and correct use of modeling results in water resource management. |
