Abstract:

The Environmental Monitoring and Assessment Program (EMAP) is a research program to develop the tools necessary to monitor and assess the status and trends of national ecological resources. Data components include a distributed set of Oracle databases, a database housing spatial information, documented EMAP data sets, and EMAP documents.

          How To Access The Data

          Oracle, Arc/Info, and desktop mapping tools can be used to access the database. In addition, data and information are available on the EMAP web site, formatted in two EPA standards: ASCII Text files and ARC/INFO Export files.

          The following data sets can be accessed via the EMAP web site, and are arranged alphabetically by topic below:
