Vector, founded in 1986, applies engineering and environmental sciences to solid waste planning, management and landfill design. The company also provides mine waste management, heap leach pad design, wastewater and environmental consulting, as well as a wide range of geotechnical and construction support services. Vector has a staff of 70 engineers, scientists and planners involved in major projects throughout the United States, Latin
America, Asia and Africa.

          In 1990, the company formed an association with E. C. Rowe y Asoc. in Santiago, Chile. The company then founded Vector Chile Ltda. (1994) and Vector Argentina S. A. (1996).
