Bethlehem Apparatus Company's Resource Recovery and Recycling Division recycles mercury and mercury bearing waste and is also a global supplier of prime virgin and high purity mercury. Their products and services include:
- Mercury Recovery/Recycling Service - Bethlehem Apparatus can process a wide variety of solid and liquid mercury bearing wastes. They process over 1000 tons of mercury waste annually. They have the capacity to process from a few ounces to truckloads of 55 gallon drums. Acceptable wastes include: batteries, switches, thermometers, lamps, regulators, ignition tubes, PPE, and debris.
- Fluorescent Lamp Recycling Service - Bethlehem Apparatus uses EPA BDAT RMERC retort processing for the entire lamp.
For a waste stream to be treated at the facility, the waste stream must be profiled by the generator, analyzed for required parameters, and formally accepted by the facility.
