Systech has partnered with Lafarge to supply their cement kiln with waste products to use as a supplemental fuel source or as a raw material substitute for aggregate. The facility is operating under an approved RCRA Part B Permit.
Wastes must have over 6000 BTUs per pound and be blendable or pumpable, whether hazardous or nonhazardous, to be acceptable for use at the facility. Waste streams accepted include: halogenated and nonhalogenated solvents, and oils. Wastes can be in the form of liquids and sludges; in bulk or drums.
Many kinds of wastes are processed by Systech, however all wastes must be tested and approved by Systech on a case-by-case basis. Waste is not accepted at the facility until it has been analyzed for specific parameters, profiled and approved by the facility.
