Abstract:

Design for the environment involves a series of tools and management approaches for improving profit margins and your competitive position, and for reducing waste, pollution and future liabilities. The DFE approach embraces the life cycle of a product or process, including raw materials acquisition and processing, manufacturing, use, resource recovery and disposal. At this course you will gain an understanding of the approaches and tools available for environmental design. The course will provide you with a framework for developing and implementing a DFE program at your facility.
