S-K operates a hazardous waste incineration and transfer facility that can accept waste types such as: wastewaters, leachate, organics, inorganics, paint sludges, pesticides, reactives, heavy metals, halogenated and nonhalogenated solvents, oils, acids, and caustics.
Waste treatment technologies employed at the site include: incineration, waste bulking, neutralization, and fuels blending. Wastes must be pumpable liquids.
The facility is operating under an approved RCRA Part B Permit and can accept CERCLA wastes.
For a waste stream to be accepted at the facility, the waste must be profiled by the generator, analyzed for required parameters, and formally accepted by the facility.
