Superior Special Services is offers a variety of environmental services including: a waste treatment, storage, and disposal facility (WID988566543), non-regulated waste stabilization, special waste landfills, recycling of fluorescent lamps and mercury, emergency response, lab packing, waste transportation, site remediation, waste brokerage, tank cleaning, scuba diving, and many others.
Waste types accepted include: contaminated soils, halogenated and nonhalogenated solvents, organics, inorganics, reactives, PCBs, pesticides, acids, caustics, and heavy metals. Services include: removal/disposal, waste management, clean-up, and emergency response for leaks and spills - 24 hours a day.
PCB Ballast and Lamp Disposal/Recycling Services
Superior takes full responsibility for every phase of the disposal process. The Superior staff is thoroughly familiar with all regulatory agency requirements relating to the handling, transportation and disposal of hazardous waste. They will provide, prepare and process all the paperwork required by federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
Superior operates their own fluorescent bulb recycling facility. They also recycle light ballasts which are disassembled into their component parts (glass, mercury, phosphor powder) and disposed of properly in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Other Wastes Accepted
In addition to ballasts and lamps, Superior can treat or recycle the following wastes: batteries, wastes for fuel blending, coolants, and latex paint.
