Founded in 1979, Walsh is a 60-person environmental consulting firm providing services in the USA and overseas. Their primary services are site assessments, site investigations, support for remedial investigations and feasibility studies (RI/FS); remediation of soil, water, and air; environmental impact assessments and statements (EIA/EIS); geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing (RS); underground storage tank (UST) removal, remediation, and cost reimbursement; and industrial hygiene/ health and safety. We assist our clients in meeting regulatory requirements under CERCLA, RCRA, SDWA, CAA, CWA, OSHA, and state regulations.
The company employs the following remedial technologies: air sparge / vapor extraction, soil vapor extraction, pump and treat, thermal desorption, bioremediation (in- and ex-situ), subslab depressurization, fixation, and incineration. Contaminants addressed include: hydrocarbons, metals, solvents, pesticides, PCBs, radionuclides, and asbestos.
Walsh provides a broad range of environmental consulting to federal and state governments, municipalities, and industry in the Rocky Mountain region.
Internationally, we work with energy and mining companies on exploration, production, and power generation projects, also GIS and remote sensing technologies, bioremediation, and remediation of chlorinated solvents, including TCE.
