The AISC is a non-profit association representing and serving the structural steel industry in the U.S for over 75 years. Its purpose is to expand the use of fabricated structural steel through research and development, education, technical assistance, standardization and quality control.

Their Web site offers fabrication information, a searchable AISC publications and software store, industry events, indexes for the Engineering Journal and Steel Interchange publications.

Also featured on the Web site is the National Steel Bridges Alliance (NSBA). The NSBA is an organization made up of steel mills, steel bridge fabricators, The American Institute of Steel Construction, The American Iron and Steel Institute and other allied companies whose common purpose is to further the cause of steel bridges.
