Heritage owns and operates four RCRA Part B permitted treatment, storage and disposal facilities, one environmental laboratory and one RCRA Part B permitted land disposal facility.
Heritage's Kansas City facility (MOD981505555) is a RCRA Part B permitted, commercial off-site facility, that accepts wastes for bulking, treatment, or brokering. This facility handles both bulk and containerized wastes from over-the-road vehicles and rail. They accept liquid, solid and sludge forms of wastes including, but not limited to organics (including halogenated and non-halogenated solvents), oils, phenols, paints and pigments, cyanides, corrosives, heavy metal-bearing wastes, high biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) wastes, metal sludges, lab packs and nonhazardous wastes. Some types of liquid wastes can be treated on-site. Most of the wastes are repackaged and sent to off-site treatment facilities.
