Philip/Chemical Pollution Control operates a hazardous and nonhazardous transfer and fuels blending facility that accepts a wide variety of waste types including: wastewaters, contaminated soils, solvents, inorganics, reactives, corrosives, heavy metals, acids, caustics, batteries, and photographic chemicals. Wastes are accepted in containers and tanker trucks.
The facility is operating under the New York States equivalent of a RCRA Permit for hazardous waste storage.
For a waste stream to be accepted at the facility, the waste must be profiled by the generator, analyzed for required parameters, and formally accepted by the facility.
