The Endangered Species Information System provides free online access to information on endangered species. Users can link to the web site listed below and select endangered species information from the following groups: Birds; Fish; Invertebrates; Mammals; Plants; Reptiles and Amphibians.
Once you have selected a particular group, choose from a list of individual species and click on the title to obtain information such as: Taxonomy; Status; Habitat Associations; Food Habits; Environmental Associations; Life History; and Management Practices.
