Technology Description: | |
The EOL technology uses surface to borehole geophysics to identify petroleum contamination. In this inductive electrical resistivity survey, a magnetic field is induced into the ground which causes electrical currents to be generated in the subsurface. Petroleum products are highly resistive to electrical currents. The EOL technology measures areas within a survey area that exhibit highly resistive measurements. The data are then processed to develop a three-demensional representation of the underground LNAPL/DNAPL plumes. |
