SOLVENT EXTRACTION

          This process uses solvent to extract organic contaminants from various wastes. The organics will be separated from the solvent by distillation.

          The process can be used for liquids, sludges, solids or any mixture with a wide range of organics. Material handling equipment and contact apparatus which are available in the market will be utilized.

          The process can be broken down into the following components:

          1 - Material Handling Equipment (Loads & Conveyers etc.)

          2 - Contact Apparatus(s).

          3 - Separation Process(s).

          4 - Tanks, Prime Mover, Rotating Equipment.

          5 - Piping, Valves and Control System.

          The process is limited to organic compounds, and removal of organic compounds is incomplete in some cases.
