The National Air and Radiation Environmental Laboratory (NAREL) is a comprehensive environmental laboratory managed by the USEPA's Office of Radiation and Indoor Air (ORIA). The laboratory provide services to a wide range of clients including other EPA offices, Federal and Sate Agencies, and in some cases, private clients. The laboratory is focused on developing and applying the most advanced techniques for measuring radioactivity and evaluating its risk to the public.
