The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is dedicated to the advancement of the science and profession of civil engineering through education. ASCE has developed standards for the Civil Engineering profession, many of which are ANSI approved. Some examples of ASCE Standards include: Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures; Measurement of Oxygen Transfer in Clean Water; Standard Guidelines for the Design of Urban Subsurface Drainage; and Seismic Analysis of Safety-Related Nuclear Structures. These standards are available for purchase from ASCE. The free Member Product and Service Catalog lists these and other publications. This catalog can be keyword searched at the ASCE World Wide Web site. |
