Abstract:

This series is currently being developed. The orthophotoquads will be produced at 1:12,000 scale, in 3-3/4-minute quarter quadrangle format. Orthophotoquads are distortion free, aerial photographic images. They contain no symbolized features, and a minimal number of names. They show a wealth of planimetric details and land use and land cover information that is not symbolized on conventional line maps. They make excellent supplements to published maps.
