The National Radon Database (NRDB) was developed by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) to distribute information in two recent radon surveys: the EPA/State Residential Radon Surveys and the National Residential Radon Survey. The National Residential Radon Surveys collected annual average radon measurements on all levels of approximately 5,700 homes nationwide. Information collected during survey includes a detailed questionnaire on house characteristics, as well as radon measurements.
How To Access The Data
This database is available for purchase from NTIS on diskette in ASCII format. Volume 6, 1991-1992, is available on two diskettes. A set of all six volumes, covering the years 1986-1992, is also available. Orders can be placed by telephone, mail, fax, or e-mail.
Documentation on the design and implementation of the survey, the development and use of sampling weights, a summary of survey results, and information concerning the household questionnaire is included; and may also be ordered separately as PB93-134831INC.
