Aeromagnetic data consist of surveys providing information on magnetic fields, aeromagnetic data, and geomagnetism for surveyed areas. Aeromagnetic data have a variety of uses, such as exploration for energy and mineral resources, modeling of magnetic fields, geophysical research, and integration with satellite imagery to enhance geological studies.
Surveys generally include both low- and high-density data and line spacing is .05 to 5 km, altitude above ground and the sampling interval along flight lines is 1 second. Numerous datum, accuracies, resolution and sources are available.
