EPA's Office of Water (OW) has developed a listing of EPA and non-EPA publications dealing with lead in drinking water. Printed copies of the listing can be obtained at no cost through the Safe Drinking Water Hotline. Each entry in this listing contains the publication's name, publisher, date, subject, audience, and ordering information. Some of the EPA publications in the listing are available free-of-charge through the Safe Drinking Water Hotline. For those EPA publications not available through the hotline, they can be purchased through the Education Resource Information Center (ERIC) or the National Technical Information Service (NTIS). Non-EPA publications are available for purchase through the American Water Works Association (AWWA) or the National Drinking Water Clearinghouse (NDWC).
